When spring comes, there are a lot of routines that require our attention: from the seasonal changing of our wardrobe to the need of some sunlamp sessions - to have a less pallid color when it is necessary to reduce our sleeves - from the extension of our coffee break time to the tempt to find which fruits and vegetables are the ones suggested during this season.
Given the actual temperatures, with hot afternoons and a feeble thermal excursion in the evening, a plate that can be served both hot and cold and made of fresh and genuine ingredients is perfect for these days during which we do not know how many clothes we have to wear!
This is the reason why we would like to suggest you a simple receipt typical of Tuscany: the tomato bread!
Ingredients for four people:
Put the oil into a casseruole with two cloves of garlic, letting them browning. Then, add the tomatoes – cutted into cubed – and the basil. Add salt and pepper, then cook for 15 minutes. At the end, add also the brothe and the bread. Keep cooking for other 10 minutes. Leave it cool down and serve with the addition of Tuscan oil.
We suggest you to eat this plat with a good glass of Cerchiaia wine, the Chianti produced in the Azienda Agricola of Castelfalfi!
