To explore all the characteristic aspects of Tuscany and immerse yourselves in its history and culture, Toscana Resort Castelfalfi offers the chance to board an elegant Vespa and go discovering all the area’s fortified hilltop towns and typical delicacies. Italy’s ‘Dolce Vita’ is inextricably connected to this, the world’s most famous motor scooter: as the wind blows through your hair, and you enjoy the warm sunshine filtering through the typical cypress trees lining the roads. Tuscany and Italian culture combine to grant feelings of freedom and style that only a Vespa can give. Be tempted by the past to live a day out of the box!
Choose between hiring a Vespa and setting off on your own personal adventure or treat yourself to one of three excursions especially designed for real connoisseurs, and particularly for lovers of good food and Italian lifestyle.
The first takes you on a discovery of Tuscan traditions: starting from San Gimignano, the group moves to a typical cheese-making factory, where you can help to make some cheese, and then taste some of them with delicious honey and home-made jams; this is followed by a wine-tasting and a full lunch prepared with lots of local food specialities.
The second excursion is for those addicted to the beauty of Tuscan scenery: the tour begins with a wine-tasting in one of the best-known wineries of Castellina in Chianti, followed by a walk around the lovely old town; then lunch in a typical local restaurant, and on to Radda in Chianti to relax exploring its quaint little streets.
And finally, the third option takes you to explore picturesque Monteriggioni, followed by a typical Tuscan lunch in Castellina in Chianti
A journey through centuries of history and breath-taking views, along quiet roads and through spectacular hill country: Toscana Resort Castelfalfi is the ideal starting point to live unique adventures and inimitable emotions that only Tuscany inspires.
Vespa hire and the day excursions can be arranged through Hotel La Tabaccaia, with no over-night stay required. We kindly request visitors book a minimum of one week in advance.
