If you wish to become part of our team, we are looking for a Learning & Development Manager.

The Learning & Development Manager acts as an ambassador of Castelfalfi’s values, mission, and culture. The role ensures that L&D programs are effective and aligned with business objectives, while also ensuring they are delivered consistently across all staff, contributing to the creation and implementation of skills development programs across all business units, always promoting an atmosphere of enthusiasm and engagement. The role works closely with and under the supervision of the Director of Excellence Academy.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Assists the Director of Excellence Academy in the day-to-day management of the division to ensure smooth operations, consistent excellence in training activities, and participant satisfaction
  • Ensures that all training and skills development activities are strategically aligned with Castelfalfi’s mission, vision, and culture
  • Contributes to the design and development of training materials, including presentations, guidelines, and learning tools on corporate philosophy, procedures, product knowledge (hospitality and agriculture), customer care, operational excellence, and leadership skills, ensuring the continuous evolution, improvement, and success of the Academy
  • Organizes and implements the training calendar to support talent development at both individual and team level, aligning with business and operational needs
  • Assists in conducting training needs assessments, measuring training effectiveness to ensure return on investment
  • Maintains training attendance records and other skills development documentation
  • Organizes the training program and oversees its delivery with a hands-on approach, ensuring timely completion of all assigned tasks
  • Participates in the development of the division budget as required
  • Builds and maintains positive relationships with colleagues and team members, always remaining professional and people-oriented

Required skills

  • 3 to 5 years of work experience in a similar role, preferably in luxury hospitality
  • Degree in Human Resources Management, Work Psychology, Foreign Languages, and/or a field related to hospitality and tourism
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, including PowerPoint
  • Positivity, flexibility, and creativity, with excellent presence and communication skills
  • Leadership skills with a people-focused approach, capable of managing human capital and performance orientation
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills: welcoming and ethically sound
  • Fluent knowledge of Italian and English, both spoken and written

Contract conditions

  • Tourism National Collective Labor Agreement (CCNL Turismo) – Full-time
  • Gross annual salary starting from €38,000.00
