Accountant

Main duties and responsibilities
The professional figure will report to the manager of the passive area and will carry out the following tasks within the office:
- Updating supplier database according to company procedures
- Checking the correctness of tax documents with transport documents, contracts and purchase requests
- Registration of passive invoices
- Preparation and sending of Intrastat form
- Conservation and archiving of all accounting documents relating to the supplier area (rda, ddt, contracts)
- Control of employee expense reports
- Maintain relations with the Auditing Firm for the documentation within its competence
- Development and/or improvement of existing company procedures
The above guaranteeing compliance with the regulations and accounting principles both for the general accounting (first note, assets, accruals and deferrals) and the internal procedures for the analytical one (registrations for cost centers)
Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of accounting and Italian accounting principles
- Knowledge of the legal provisions relating to the tasks entrusted (VAT, tax deadlines, Intrastat, etc.)
- Flexibility and ability to work to stringent deadlines
- Ability to work constructively and in synergy with the group to achieve common objectives, share projects, information and resources
- Analytical ability, proactivity and approach aimed at solving problems and making one's work more efficient
- Experience in the role of at least 2/3 years in structured companies or accounting firms
- Degree in Economics and/or accounting diploma
- Fair knowledge of the English language
- Good knowledge of Excel
- Knowledge of Microsoft Navision appreciated

This position is based in (FI), Tuscany, Italy. Availability of staff accommodation upon request. Candidates should have a flexible schedule with the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays. You must possess the legal right to work in Italy.
