Responsibility


  • Organize, supervise and provide guests of the resort and villas/farms with an excellent Room Service, according to the Company's directives and based on operational standards and within the required times;
  • Personally deal with requests from VIP guests, answering possible questions and providing them with the necessary assistance to guarantee attentive and quality service;
  • Select, train, evaluate and manage the operational staff of the Room Service department, always acting as a model of correctness, courtesy, professionalism and competence;
  • Supervise and maintain correct operations by implementing department procedures in a timely manner, ensuring the right number of daily allowances in stock, the proper functioning of the equipment used in the department and the correct application of HACCP and Safety directives;
  • Collaborate with the management of F&B and other catering outlets (e.g. Banqueting department) in the creation of special events (e.g. events relating to catering in villas and farmhouses or in suites), ensuring maximum collaboration, the best customer service guests and the correct coordination of the resources involved;
  • Conduct daily briefings and regular department meetings so that Room Service staff are always up to date and well informed on the events and services to be provided;
  • Carry out administrative tasks such as planning the department's working hours, monthly inventory and replenishment of the correct stocks, optimizing all department costs, at the same time looking for every opportunity to improve revenues;
  • Monitor the correct presence of the In Room Dining menu in the rooms, suites and villas/farms.

Requirements


  • Experience gained in luxury hospitality, in the Room Service department or in fine dining catering;
  • Fluent knowledge of the English language. A second foreign language, in addition to Italian, would be an advantage;
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays;

Main duties and responsibilities


  • Assists the Restaurant Manager in directing the brigade service teams on a daily basis to ensure smooth operations, consistent excellence and guest satisfaction;
  • Develops positive relations with guests and team members, whilst remaining professional and service oriented at all times;
  • Contributes to the development of food & beverage product/offering to ensure that the restaurant continues to evolve, improve and prosper;
  • Supports in planning, directing, controlling, coordinating and participating in all areas and activities of the department, working closely with the Restaurant Manager and the F&B management;

  • Drive the Company's cars and vans intended for the transportation of guests, in particular for travel within the estate, transfers from the airports to the resort and vice versa, transfers to other locations based on the requests of guests and management of the estate;

  • Meet guests upon arrival and accompany them to their accommodations while remaining at their disposal throughout their stay

Role Description


  • The Chef de Partie takes an active part in the daily operations of the kitchen. He dedicates himself to the preparation and presentation of the dishes following the established recipes;
  • Is responsible for the assigned lot, for its cleanliness and the equipment in use; completes all tasks taking into account the established timescales;
  • Coordinates the Commis in its match ensuring that the preparations are carried out according to the directives;

Role Description


  • The Chef de Rang takes care of providing table service, based on the operational standards present in the Restaurant;
  • Ensures that the guest receives adequate attention and information on the culinary philosophy and that overall he or she enjoys the restaurant experience;
  • Prepares the mise en place and sets up the work spaces before/after each service;
  • Takes orders and relates to the guest in a friendly and professional way, explaining and suggesting the dishes on the menu;
  • Enters orders on the PMS and ensures the correct timing of dishes during table service;

Responsibility


  • Ensure smooth operation and efficiency of the Facility Department, leading the Maintenance Team in the day-to-day operations of the estate and its business units, including its resort premisses, while respecting service standards, equipment, and work schedules;
  • Plan, direct, control, coordinate and participate in all areas and activities of the Facility department, liaising with our internal Project Division and their consultants (i.e. interior designers, architects, quantity surveyors, mechanical/electrical/plumbing engineers, lighting consultants, audio visual consultants and procurement agents);
  • Develop and maintain effective administrative and communication systems and requirements, following up with stakeholder about specific refurbishments and maintenance projects and their goals;
  • Implement and where necessary upgrade systems as required by the company product standards;
  • Diagnose, maintain and repair equipment ensuring data record is kept for preventive maintenance of mechanical, electrical, fire & safety, civil, guest rooms, public area, kitchen, back of house and audio visuals;
  • Overview and coordinate daily checks to the technical implants of the estate and its business units, communicating with the resort management and its Housekeeping department to prioritize maintenance tasks in case of requests for guest rooms and hotel public areas;
  • Direct and oversee the functionality and safety of the facility, (i.e. buildings, mechanical plants, electrical systems, heating and cooling systems, life safety systems) in line with regulations;

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, project management or in an equivalent technical field;
  • A minimum of 5 years’ professional experience in a similar role and across all aspects of the Engineering & Maintenance departments within luxury hotels;

The professional figure will report to the manager of the passive area and will carry out the following tasks within the office:

  • Updating supplier database according to company procedures;
  • Checking the correctness of tax documents with transport documents, contracts and purchase requests;

Responsibility


  • Take charge of the IT projects defined by the manager;
  • Always keep the list of users who access computer systems in all the systems under scrutiny updated and consistent, carrying out monthly cross-checks of the employees in force with the list of active users in the various systems, enabling or disabling the various users accordingly ;
