Finance Transformation & Projects Specialist

If you would like to join our team, we are currently looking for a Finance Transformation & Projects Specialist.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Director of Tax and will play a key role in supporting the evolution of the Finance function, contributing both to reporting and data quality control activities, as well as to cross-functional projects focused on process improvement, innovation, and digital transformation.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Support and coordinate cross-functional projects with financial, organizational, and technological impact.
- Participate in the implementation and optimization of ERP systems, reporting tools, and automation solutions.
- Analyze existing Finance processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and proposing innovative and effective solutions.
- Contribute to the development of advanced reporting and automation tools using Excel and the Microsoft Power Platform suite.
- Support compliance, governance, and regulatory projects related to accounting and tax matters.
- Prepare documentation, procedures, analyses, and presentations to support management decision-making.
- Support monthly reporting activities, ensuring data quality, completeness, and consistency.
- Collaborate with the Accounting team to identify anomalies and improve the reliability of financial information.
- Contribute to the standardization of procedures, controls, and monitoring tools.
- Support the preparation of documentation required for internal and external audits.
- Facilitate the alignment between operational accounting activities and management reporting and analytical requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- At least 3–5 years of professional experience in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, or Reporting.
- Experience combining operational accounting activities with analysis, reporting, and/or process improvement initiatives.
- Participation in ERP implementation projects, Finance transformation initiatives, digitalization programs, or process optimization projects.
- Strong knowledge of general accounting and Italian accounting principles.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and reporting platforms.
- Knowledge of Power BI, Power Query, and Power Automate will be considered an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset.
- A continuous improvement approach and the ability to critically review existing processes.
- Accuracy, reliability, and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both operational and managerial stakeholders.
Employment Conditions
- Full-time contract under the Italian Tourism Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL Turismo).
- Gross annual salary starting from €35,000.
