If you would like to become part of our team, we are currently looking for a Giardiniere.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform advanced turf maintenance activities, including mowing, rolling, topdressing, aeration, and bunker maintenance.
- Operate and maintain a wide range of golf course maintenance equipment, including mowers, utility vehicles, tractors, and specialized turf care machinery.
- Prepare the golf course for daily play by changing hole locations, moving tee markers, and monitoring course conditions in accordance with established operating procedures.
- Support irrigation system management, including hand watering and moisture monitoring.
- Apply fertilizers, soil amendments, and plant protection products under supervision and in compliance with safety procedures.
- Identify and promptly report turf health issues, pest infestations, diseases, or equipment malfunctions.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and professionalism within work areas and contribute to the overall presentation of the golf course.
- Comply with all health, safety, and environmental procedures, contributing to a culture of environmental responsibility.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Previous experience in golf course maintenance is preferred; experience in professional turf management will also be considered.
- Ability to operate and maintain standard turf maintenance equipment.
- Solid knowledge of turf care practices and the quality standards required in high-end facilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in carrying out tasks.
- Good command of the English language.
Employment Terms
- Full-time seasonal employment under the Italian Tourism Collective Labor Agreement (CCNL Turismo).
- Gross monthly salary starting from €1,590.00.
