The magical and elegant atmosphere of the Ecrù Bar with its terrace overlooking the marvelous panorama of the Tuscan hills, will host every Monday from 7 pm the Groovy Monday, a music festival with local artists, who will alternate in evenings dedicated to jazz, swing and blues music.
The renowned local band Andrea Vincenti Swingtet, a vibrant trio surrounded by frenzied double basses, sparkling horns, taut strings and swinging keys will recreate an atmosphere of other times with a musical genre between jazz and swing in an alternation of wind instruments and rope, for a suggestive and always original result. A vast repertoire that embraces the great jazz classics from Frank Sinatra to Michael Bublé up to the amusing notes of the Italian Swing of the 30s and 40s. Paola Bivona jazz trio arrives in Castelfalfi with a new project related to the world of jazz. A local trio that fully expresses the spirit of these evenings through a ballad, swing and blues repertoire and reinterpreting the biggest names on the international jazz scene.
Groovy, derives from groove, a typical word of American slang, born in the jazz culture of the 1920s which literally referred to the groove of vinyl records and subsequently acquired a more popular meaning. In fact, even today it indicates a rhythmic series that repeats itself cyclically and which has a strong ability to involve the listener. Our Groovy Monday was created to entertain your evening time in a warm and relaxing atmosphere, where you can enjoy refined cocktails while admiring the dreamy panorama of Castelfalfi. Our bar manager Tiziano Frontini and his team will take care of you, delighting you with exquisite finger food and special signature cocktails, based on organic products, own made within the estate.
