Night Auditor

If you would like to become part of our team, we are currently looking for a Night Auditor.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform Front Office duties during the night shift, including check-in and check-out procedures, guest request management, and cashiering operations.
- Assist guests in the lobby and at the entrance, providing support with luggage handling, storage, valet parking services, and transportation arrangements when required.
- Deliver personalized guest service by responding promptly to requests in person, by telephone, or via email, including wake-up calls, housekeeping coordination, basic maintenance requests, and concierge-style assistance.
- Manage room service orders during the night shift in accordance with company standards.
- Prepare, deliver, and/or coordinate specific room service items when required.
- Ensure accurate posting of room service charges to guest accounts.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of operational and service areas.
- Handle incoming phone calls and reservation enquiries during nighttime hours.
- Provide accurate information regarding hotel services and local attractions.
- Strictly apply financial and credit procedures; complete the Night Audit process, balance transactions, and prepare reports for the following day.
- Verify room rates, charges, payments, and revenue postings.
- Monitor daily arrivals, departures, and in-house occupancy to support operational planning.
- Ensure the entrance area, lobby, and back office remain orderly, welcoming, and fully operational.
- Maintain an active presence in the lobby throughout the night shift to ensure guest comfort, safety, and immediate assistance when required.
- Ensure accurate completion of operational logs, detailed shift handovers, and replenishment of supplies for the following shift.
- Collaborate with security personnel to ensure guest safety and peace of mind during the night.
- Apply emergency procedures and provide assistance in the event of medical situations or other critical incidents.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Previous experience in Front Office, accounting, or the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Basic accounting knowledge and experience with financial records and reconciliations are considered an advantage.
- Availability to work night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Excellent command of both Italian and English.
- Valid driving licence.
- Strong attention to detail and operational accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong service-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Reliability, discretion, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Ability to remain calm, focused, and professional under pressure or in emergency situations.
Employment Terms
- Full-time seasonal employment under the Italian Tourism Collective Labor Agreement (CCNL Turismo).
- Gross monthly salary starting from €2,100.00.
