If you would like to become part of our team, we are currently looking for a Porter.
The Porter represents the first and last point of contact between the guest and the hotel, ensuring a warm, professional, and consistent welcome at the entrance of the property.
This role contributes directly to the perception of luxury, safety, and attention to detail, embodying the image and values of the Borgo through presence, style, and genuine care for every guest.
Objectives and Responsibilities
- Deliver a guest arrival and departure experience in line with luxury hospitality standards.
- Maintain a constant, professional, and welcoming presence at the entrance throughout the shift.
- Greet guests upon arrival and departure with courtesy and attentiveness.
- Open vehicle and hotel doors, facilitating smooth access to the property.
- Manage vehicle flow in coordination with the Concierge and Porterage team, ensuring efficiency and organization.
- Park and retrieve guest vehicles in accordance with company procedures.
- Assist guests with luggage and escort them to Reception, Concierge, or other areas of the property.
- Provide basic information regarding the resort, its services, and the organization of the Borgo.
- Recognize returning guests and VIPs, contributing to a personalized guest experience.
- Monitor the entrance area to ensure cleanliness, order, security, and an impeccable presentation.
- Contribute to a seamless and well-organized guest journey, fully aligned with the property's quality standards.
- Collaborate with other departments, providing operational support to the Rooms Division and, when required, assisting other departments according to operational needs.
Required Skills and Competencies
Technical Skills
- Previous experience in guest-facing roles, preferably within five-star hotels or luxury hospitality environments.
- Knowledge of Front of House operations and luxury guest service standards.
- Ability to provide clear and accurate information regarding the property, its services, and the surrounding destination.
- Valid Category B driving licence.
- Fluent English language skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate and promote the unique history, character, and values of the Borgo.

Employment Terms
- Full-time seasonal employment under the Italian Tourism Collective Labor Agreement (CCNL Turismo).
- Gross monthly salary starting from €1,564.79.
