If you would like to join our team, we are looking for a Reservation Agent.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Processes individual reservations via email and telephone
- Processes individual reservations from online and offline agencies;
- Has detailed and in-depth knowledge of room inventory, location, and layout, as well as the services offered at the Resort.
- Has detailed and in-depth knowledge of sales status, rates, and packages. Undersstands and applies the hotel's no-show and/or cancellation policies.
- Applies rates in line with the company's revenue strategy. Prepares offer and confirmation emails.
- Communicates reservation information and details to the Front Office.
- Processes changes and cancellations and promptly communicates them to the Front Office.
- Deposit processing.
- Tracks room availability on a daily basis.
- Assists with pre-registration where necessary.
- Manages daily correspondence and responds to customer inquiries and requests, adhering to the company standard of responding within 24 hours.
- Keeps the workstation tidy and adheres to grooming standards.
- Handles requested communications with the utmost courtesy and helpfulness towards customers and colleagues.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years' experience in a similar role in a luxury hotel company
- Fluent written and spoken English (at least C1) as well as a second foreign language
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and email Excellent communication, storytelling, empathy, and listening skills.
- Results-oriented and sales-oriented
- Knowledge of the Opera PMS is an advantage for the selection process
Contractual Terms
- Full-time contract under the National Collective Labor Agreement (CCNL) for the Tourism sector.
