Our Organic Wines

A Terroir to Discover

Castelfalfi wines are born where nature sets the pace and mankind listens. Amid rolling hills, woodlands, and quiet ponds, 25 hectares of organically cultivated vineyards express the true essence of a unique land between Florence and Pisa.  Each plot reveals a different nuance, carefully preserved and enhanced in the cellar through a mindful, regenerative approach. The result is a collection of elegant, balanced wines that speak of their origin.

Our organic and regenerative approach

Our organic approach is rooted in deep respect for the vineyard and in the desire to enhance the unique character of each individual parcel through regenerative and sustainable farming. By limiting human intervention and protecting the environment, we preserve the natural qualities of the grapes and intensify the character of our wines. In the cellar, each variety is vinified and aged separately, evolving until it reaches a refined and harmonious balance.

Poggio i soli

Poggio I Soli - IGT Toscana Vermentino

Wine at Castelfalfi is ancient knowledge: as early as 1427, the “I Soli” estate was producing wine, as historical records show.

By the late 1800s, our white wine was even exported to China. Today, Poggio I Soli Vermentino carries on this legacy with a fresh, harmonious profile: notes of citrus, white flowers, and Mediterranean herbs blend into a vibrant, savory palate.

Excellent when young, yet suited to graceful ageing.

Fonterinaldo

Fonterinaldo - IGT Toscana Vermentino

Born from selected Vermentino grapes and a noble legacy, Fonterinaldo is a limited-edition white wine that reflects the history of Castelfalfi and the Caetani family.

Vinified in cocciopesto amphora and aged in barrique, it balances structure and finesse. White peach, lemon zest, thyme, and a hint of almond define its character. Refined now, with great ageing potential.

Falecine

Falecine - IGT Toscana Rosso

From the north-facing vineyards of the Falecine estate, near the scenic Carfalo Valley, comes a modern, elegant red.

A blend of Sangiovese, Syrah, and Merlot, Falecine is a light, aromatic wine with a bright ruby hue and notes of wild berries, rose, and wisteria. Fresh, savory, and persistent on the palate, it’s a graceful red, best enjoyed in its youth.

Casiscala

Casiscala - IGT Toscana Rosso

Born from a vibrant and fertile land, Casiscala reflects our commitment to sustainability and respect for nature. This red blend of Sangiovese and Syrah offers a harmonious balance of red berries, warm spices, and a soft, round palate.

A wine that speaks of its land with elegance, depth, and a lasting connection to its roots.

Cappella del lupo

Cappella del Lupo - IGT Toscana Rosso

Inspired by an 18th-century legend, Cappella del Lupo is a bold red crafted from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.

The richness of the soil and ageing in French oak barriques bring out layered notes of ripe fruit, spice, tobacco, and vanilla. Structured, smooth, and long on the palate, it’s a wine that echoes the timeless soul of Castelfalfi.

Poggio alla fame

Poggio alla Fame - IGT Toscana Sangiovese

From the estate’s oldest vineyard comes Poggio alla Fame, a pure Sangiovese that embodies the essence of central Tuscany.

Elegant and complex, it reveals notes of ripe red fruit, violet, spice, and balsamic hints. Rich and structured on the palate, with fine tannins and vibrant acidity, it’s a true expression of the land, refined today, remarkable with age.

Castelfalfi

Castelfalfi - IGT Toscana Rosso

The signature wine of the estate, Castelfalfi is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Petit Verdot crafted only in the finest vintages. Aged for two years in amphora and barrique, it offers rich aromas of ripe fruit, cocoa, and tobacco.

Deep, harmonious, and long-lived, it is available exclusively at the estate, where its story begins. Each bottle captures the essence of our land and the passion behind every harvest.

Vinsanto

Castelfalfi Vin Santo - DOC Vin Santo del Chianti

At Castelfalfi, Vin Santo is a tribute to Tuscan tradition. Made from dried Trebbiano and Malvasia grapes and aged in small oak casks, it reveals amber hues and aromas of honey, dried fruit, and candied orange peel.

Sweet yet balanced by vibrant acidity, it’s a velvety, harmonious dessert wine, perfect with Tuscan pastries.
