Senior Sales Manager Leisure

Main Duties and Responsibilities

 The Senior Sales Manager Leisure is responsible for developing and managing leisure sales strategies to maximize revenue from tour operators, travel agencies, online travel agents (OTAs), and other leisure market segments. The role requires strong relationship-building skills, a proactive sales approach, and a deep understanding of the luxury and premium leisure travel market.

  • Proactively identify, develop, and maintain relationships with key leisure travel partners globally.
  • Create and execute strategic sales plans to increase leisure room nights and revenue.
  • Conduct sales calls, attend travel trade shows, and host familiarization trips (FAMs) to promote the property.
  • Negotiate and contract preferred agreements with tour operators and travel consortia.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends to adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to support leisure campaigns and promotions.
  • Achieve and exceed individual sales targets and contribute to team goals.
  • Maintain an updated CRM database with client interactions and sales activities.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on sales activities and production forecasts.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, reservations, and revenue management to ensure seamless guest experience and maximize sales opportunities. 

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role within the hotel industry (luxury segment preferred).
  • Strong network of leisure travel industry contacts.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
