La Rocca di Castelfalfi

Located within the medieval castle and back to life after a meticulous restoration, the gourmet restaurant La Rocca of Castelfalfi is a landmark in the village, where you can enjoy the authentic taste of traditional Tuscan cuisine.
The restaurant is managed by the young Chef from Bergamo Michele Rinaldi. A pupil of Italy's most famous chef, Gualtiero Marchesi, at La Rocca Head Chef Rinaldi offers a traditional cuisine, based on meat and fish of the Mediterranean. Thanks to the experience gained in the most famous national and international restaurants, he has developed an original style, based on materials of the highest quality that make simplicity the distinctive element of delicious recipes.

A dream destination to savour authentic Italian hospitality

The restaurant's rooms are located on the ground floor of the Castle, in a charming setting, renovated with great care. Using traditional local materials - such as wood, stone, plaster and terracotta - the historical integrity of the building and its authentic Tuscan identity have remained intact in their total essence. Every detail of the décor is designed to bring to life the Tuscan style with bits of modernity that are suitable for a charming restaurant.
All this without forgetting the beauty of the view which overlooks the castle terrace, an ideal place for romantic dinners at sunset and under the moonlight. On the first floor of the castle there are rooms available for private dinners, parties, meetings and events. Other rooms are reserved for the Rosso Toscano Cooking School, which offers all kinds of courses, from the most traditional, focused on fresh pasta and traditional menus, to the most creative, such as the pastry and finger food class.
